Financial BP intern

Brief Overview
We are currently seeking a Financial BP Intern to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will contribute to key financial processes, budget tracking, and data management for our operations in the EMEA region.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in financial data analysis, cash flow management, and project financial tracking. You will support budget monitoring, assist in invoice compliance checks, and collaborate with regional teams to ensure efficient financial operations. This internship will allow you to develop your expertise in accounting, finance, and international business practices.

Fluency in Chinese is required, and preference will be given to candidates with strong analytical skills and with some experience in financial processes in the Netherlands. The internship duration is six months, with a minimum availability of four days per week. The preferred start date is ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in budget data collection, tracking, and analysis, supporting the EMEA regional budget summary.
  2. Support receivables management, including payment tracking and monitoring.
  3. Assist in cash flow data management for European projects, ensuring financial data is cleaned, organized, and verified.
  4. Support BOM (Bill of Materials) sorting and standardization projects for the European region.
  5. Assist in project financial management, tracking the progress of European projects and supporting regional business partners (BPs) in payment collection and sales forecasting.
  6. Conduct invoice compliance checks for European operations.
  7. Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned.
Who are we looking for?
You are an energetic, self-motivated individual who takes ownership, can work independently and think outside of the box. In addition:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance and statistics (mandatory);
  2. Fluent in Chinese and English (both spoken and written). Chinese is mandatory.
  3. Strong analytical abilities and sensitivity to data
  4. Detail-oriented with excellent communication and coordination skills
  5. Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly, works well under pressure
  6. You can sign the Nuffic agreement
  7. You can work at least 4 days a week
